The Crazy Thing Called Love

Prologue

Or a note from the author… deliberately written to waste your time

There comes a time in every young man's life when he finally realizes that girls do not carry the infectious disease known as "cooties." They open their eyes to the truth to see just what girls really are; creatures of impossible beauty that are as delicate as a flower.

This period of time is known as adolescently. Or to put it in layman's terms; they hit puberty and grow into a bunch of hormone induced teenage males. However this period is important for the females as well. This is the moment in life that they had been waiting for. If they didn't know what would happen to them when they hit their teens, they would never have put up with so much crap from the boys back in elementary school.

Remember elementary school? Boys picking on the girls, calling them names, putting random object in their hair like bugs, frogs, or art supplies. It was a childhood hell. And the girls took the abuse they got. The one thing that kept girls going to their teens was the mere thought of those boys one day begging the girls for a date when they became teenagers. Those boys who were so mean, just cruel and heartless jerks, now begged at  their feet like puppies begging for scraps.

It's a pitiful stage in evolution. Everyone knows what males are like; tough, bull headed, the rough and tough untamable guy who smashes cans on his forehead and tries to ignore the fact that he is now bleeding profusely from said forehead.

These are the same guys who once shackled to a woman can be seen in the local clothing store or Mall holding numerous pairs of clothing and a purse for their girl while their girlfriend tries on several clothes, walks out of the dressing room and asks, "honey, do these make me look fat?"

Yes, these young men who would destroy a person if the blinked at them wrong now quake in fear like a frightened puppy at the bark of their girlfriends voice. Now you tell me… which is the stronger sex?

Yes it truly is a magical (and sickening) time for the young-ins.

However…this time isn't all smiles, sunshine and raging hormones…  a fate scarier than death awaits these young men; asking girls out on their first date.

It is a fact that most teenage boys would prefer to charge into a war torn battlefield armed with nothing but a super soaker than ask a girl out to the school dance.

It truly is one of the most frightening experiences in life, the nerves get tense, your palms sweat, your breathing quickens, and you find yourself saying words that are not audible or definable in any language!

Usually when this happens, nearby friends will feel.. .obligated to "help" their poor friend out. And by "help" I mean be pushy and force them into a relationship. No matter how uncomfortable it may make them.

The following story is about one such young man. A young boy who is hopelessly in love with the idea of being in love and having no idea what to do, and of course his friends helping him discover what he's capable of along the way.

This will most likely happen to most young men… even you.  Especially if you are a pimply faced teen picking up a book to have a good cheap laugh…  the following story could very well be YOUR future my friend!  Think about that as you turn the page and begin what I'm sure will be a life changing Journey…

I've decided to start writing again. And so I decided to start writing the final for my first story and what started it all for my character s in the first place: The Crazy Thing Called Love.

Yes, I've altered the characters and the story is in need for a major revamp, so this is a prologe for the story. let me know how you like it, there will be more to come! :D

also note: I may intend to publish this so treat the prologe like your cracking open a book kay?

Must not squeal with joy. It's five in the morning. I must not squeal with joy.

Your writing has gotten really strong! I'm impressed. This is great.
