Trasnsformers Revenge of the Fallen Review

Thu Jun 25, 2009, 5:24 PM
  • Mood: Optimism
Well, I got to see Transformers Revenge of the Fallen yesterday, and now I get to write a review of it.

First off, this is definitly a sequel so if you didn't see Transformers yet, do not see this one, run out buy it, rent it, download it I don't care but see the first one first. You will be totally lost if you don't.

I refuse to give any details of the movie away, only thing I will say is I loved the story, the characters were enjoyable, and it had many laugh out loud moments. I thought this movie was several steps above it's predecessor, hell it was a whole FLIGHT of stairs above it.

All the characters you loved from the first Transformers are back, along with a few newcomers, who were almost more enjoyable than the others. While the other Autobots (pretty much anyone who isn't Bumblebee or Optimus Prime) didn't get much screen time at all, I still really enjoyed this movie. I will admit I found myself crying "Where the :censored: are the Autobots!?" quite often. In fact during almost every battle scene I said this once or twice...

However, the Decipticon arsenal was fully explored, they had over 15 to 25 different decepticons over the like 10 Autobots... (not a very even war is it? 25 to 10!)

The special Effects in this movie were top notch, it seems more effort was put into the faces of the Transformers, giving them more expression capabalities. something that I was really happy to see. And it wouldn't be a Micheal Bay movie without expl;explosions would it? Rest assured, there are a ton of things that will go BOOM! .

There really isn't anything I have bad to say about this movie, I was so into it I forgot I was going to write a review of it halfway through the movie, as a result, my notes are dismal.

So all in all, this is a great summer flick. Definitly worth your money. Go and see this movie.
So to summerize: I give Transformers 5 Micheal Bay Explosions out of 5. :pissedoff: :pissedoff: :pissedoff: :pissedoff: :pissedoff:

I really wanted to see this one, but now even more. Heard nothing but good things, and on Dave Letterman, they showed a clip where Meg Ryan said the stunt doubles almost died. So that alone... :D
But the sequel better than the original? O.O Whoa.

For a long time it gave me nightmares...
Having to witness an injustice like that.
It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be.
I can still hear them taunting him;
"Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids."
:iconrain-angel03:
Nice simile. (Ohhh, the proper grammar term, what now! ...I need sleep...) :dead:
